DRUMMIN'! This is a drumbeat I've come up with which will be used in a song on my new project, a concept album based on the seasons. Yeah I know, awesome, right? I'm just storing it here until I can do something with it, so feel free to tell me what's wrong with me or indeed share with me and the world your favourite colour. Up to you. :) I'm bound to get comments on why I'm not using a full drumkit, so here's why I'm using just a bass a snare and a crash: Because I find it's much more fun and leads to much more interesting drumming if you strip it right down to basics. People like Vadrum, who have drumkits with about fifty pieces in, are incredibly talented, but I think when you've got a choice of fifteen cymbals, you're bound to get lazy and forget how to drum imaginatively. Same goes for people who when they first start to learn, get a double bass pedal. Paranoid Android on the Ukulele Just to pass the time until I count up the votes and put out my final music video before the ALBUM IS RELEASED ZOMG, here's an amusingly appalling cover of Radiohead's classic Paranoid Android on a mofo ukulele. As for the album, I'm planning on making about fifty special editions to be sold through my website in time for christmas.
